About Us

Although our family has been in the haulage business since the 1960’s, RDH Transport was born in 2011 meaning we have an illustrious history within the haulage industry. Our passion for transport has been ingrained in the Davies family for five generations and we remain a family-run business today.

We have come a long way from humble origins. We started by transporting livestock across the UK. Now, we specialise in lorry loader transport and we service many high-profile companies in South Wales and further afield such as Morgan Marine, Envico, and Groundhog UK.

The values of safety, reliability, and customer service sit at our core. We belong to several associations and hold several accreditations that illustrate this commitment.

We are a member of the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme, a voluntary accreditation for fleet operators that aims to increase quality and compliance levels within the industry. We are also a full member of the Freight Transport Association and the Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers, which promote the safe use of lorry loaders through compliance and training requirements.

We now boast a fleet of some 17 vehicles and 20 trailers and specialise in HIAB lorry loading vehicles. We have five arctic flat beds lorries and a wider range of other vehicles at our disposal allowing us to always meet customers’ requirements while always putting safety first.

We always put our customers first. As such, we are consistently looking to evolve our offering, and invite suggestions from our customers to help adapt and tailor our fleet to meet their needs.

Additionally, all our vehicles are fitted with tracking systems that provide live updates of where our deliveries are at any given time.

That means, our customers can be confident that we are committed to delivering a reliable and honest service and will always go the extra mile to ensure the job is completed safely and efficiently.

We are also avid supporters of local grassroots sports teams. We are proud sponsors of local rugby club Llanelli Warriors, as well as other local community clubs.

We have used RDH for a couple of years now and have found them to be reliable and straightforward and easy to do business with. Tricky or difficult deliveries are dealt with without a problem and special requests are taken in their stride. I would recommend them highly.
